App limit

What's with the sudden introduction of app limit on free and lite plan?
After updating to the newest version, I seem to still be able to keep more than 10 apps or even add more.

Will I be limited to only having 10 apps at some point unless I pay $100/month?
In that case, I'll have to move over to another solution.

Yes, you can still manage/keep the applications you added beyond the 10-app limit when you were using the much earlier versions, but you won’t be able to add any more.

In the latest versions of both the Free and Lite editions, there’s now a limit of 10 applications maximum.
